In this project brief, I will examine the compromised transparency and privacy issues inherent in the contemporary digital voting system.
The use of technology and the availability of more online resources is one of the most noticeable differences between the 1872 secret ballot act and modern voting. The invention and advancement of technology can be seen in social media and AI, particularly in their contributions to elections and politics. The most intriguing negative aspect of the contribution is how algorithms are frequently feeding voter with biased fake news and misinformation. _Concept
The purpose of the 1872 secret ballot act was to protect the integrity and authenticity of voting. My project investigates and visualising the potential threat technology poses to this authenticity.
Therefore I want to enlighten my audience by making them question the digital age in relation to voting system, raise question such as “Is the information I’m reading accurate? Am I being controlled and influenced?”

_PosterThis project culminates in the creation of a poster designed for accessibility, especially at voting sites. When scanned using Artivive, the video above activates, effectively communicating my concerns regarding modern voting and the electoral system in today's digital landscape.

_Process
This was my first storyboard with my initial ideas of how I will incorporate the ballot act box and visualize my overall message of the voting system and it’s corruption, but it eventually changed and evolved as a result of my contextual research and experimentation.
_Inspiration
These images and sketches by AI-generated images of how I perceived the fluidity and transparency of the digital era, created on DALLE - 2. The sketches sparked ideas for 3D modelling and printing. The ‘Rings’ project was inspired by these AI-generated images.
